A place for community: The Daily Growler is a local establishment that is dedicated to the art of tasting the freshest of craft beers, while maintaining a community feel. The owners sought to breathe new life into a vacant building in German Village, transforming it into a vibrant neighborhood gathering destination.

What we did: REALM was entrusted with harmonizing the exterior spaces adjacent to the building. The objective extended beyond mere aesthetics, honoring the historic fabric of the neighborhood. Brick, weathered steel and repurposed wood were the primary materials used to create these unique spaces – maintaining the character of the surrounding German Village.

A collection of spaces: The elongated front patio invites patrons to enter with an intimate allure. Upon venturing further, they encounter a more informal back patio and a second-story deck. These spaces, thoughtfully interconnected, invite exploration and conversation. As patrons explore, they extend their beer-tasting experience into the surrounding public realm.
